Light: Shadows, Mirrors, and Rainbows

Science can seem like magic to younger learners – cool things can happen, but they might not understand why. These 24-page books are intended for early elementary and explain the mysteries of science in an age-appropriate way using short explanations and fun animation. Each book covers one topic and is divided into five short chapters (one page or more). A collection of experiments is found at the back of the book along with additional resources. This series could be used as a supplement to your science curriculum, but they could also be used as mini-science units. These books are oversized (10″ x 10″), the print is larger, pages are uncluttered, and the amount of information on each page is limited.
