Explode the Code, Teachers Guide for Books 5 and 6 (2nd Edition; Homeschool Edition)

This teacher’s guide is designed to be used with Explode the Code Book 5, 2nd Edition and Explode the Code Book 6, 2nd Edition (both sold-separately), and provides instructors with additional options for instruction and skill reinforcement.

Lessons include a short review or link to prior knowledge, separate sections with specific instruction for phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, writing, and review (some activities reference using the Wall Chart and Activity Book or Card set), as well as instructions for completing the pages in the student workbook. Additional notes for differentiating instruction by learning style (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) are also included, along with challenge exercises and extra practice found in the half-books (Books 5 1/2 and 6 1/2). Instructions for the posttest forms found in Books 5, 5 1/2, 6, and 6 = are also included.
